Why pay fees?
The deducted fees go towards the technology that keeps Crowdr up and running, as well as supporting our staff. They also go towards settling third party transaction charges.
Fee breakdown
Donor fee
Every time you make a donation, a 1.5% + N100 processing fee is added to fulfill charges from our payment processor. You will be informed of the total fee before donating to decide if you would like to modify your donation amount.
Fundraising fee
The fundraising fee is 2% of the total funds raised through a campaign. It’s deducted before payout.
For example: If you raise 200 USD, 2 USD is deducted to support our operations.
Volunteer fee
At this time, Crowdr doesn’t charge you anything to source volunteers!
Withdrawals
Here's a step-by-step guide on how to move campaign funds to your personal/NGO’s account.
Step 1
Add your bank account information to your profile using the Payments and Payouts section in the settings. If you don’t see your bank, please email us at support@oncrowdr.com.
Step 2
Upload your identification information, e.g. passport bio data page, photo of yourself, etc. so we can verify your identity. You don’t have to wait till the point of withdrawal to do this! The sooner you upload your information, the less delays there are at the finish line.
Step 3
Click on the withdrawal button to send a withdrawal request.
Your withdrawal request will be approved within 2 business days and we'll transfer the funds to your verified account.
* Before we approve withdrawals, we re-verify the withdrawal account.
* You cannot change anything about your campaign, profile or account while we're processing your funds withdrawal request.
How to add a bank account
Click on the menu button to find the settings, then click on “Payment and Payouts.” You'll find a prompt to add a bank account, click on that and do the following:
- Add your account number
- Select bank name
- Select an account type (Dollar* or Naira)
- Add account name
Click on save changes and viola, you've added a withdrawal account!
Changing your bank account
You can change your bank account information at any time during your campaign. However, you cannot change your account information after initiating a withdrawal process.
Account verification process
To verify a Naira account, you'll need to provide
- A clear picture of your driver's license, international passport, voter's card or NIN card.
- A close up photograph of your face.
