Let us start by saying: It is completely 100% free to launch a campaign on Crowdr.
However, like all businesses, we do have platform fees to support our operations. Read more to learn about the types of fees you might encounter and how they work.
Why pay fees?
The deducted fees go towards the technology that keeps Crowdr up and running, as well as supporting our staff. They also go towards settling third-party transaction charges.
Fee breakdown
Donor fee
Every time you make a donation, either a 1.5% + ₦100 processing fee (local transactions) or 3.9% + ₦100 fee (international transactions) is added to fulfill charges from our payment processor. This is similar to bank charges on transfers.
You will be informed of the total fee before donating to decide if you would like to modify your donation amount.
Note: Processing fees on donations are charged by our payment processing partner, Paystack. Crowdr does not receive any part of the processing fees.
Fundraising fee
The fundraising fee is 5% of the total funds raised through a campaign. It’s deducted before payout and used purely to support our operations: labor, technology and more. We’ve ensured our fee is in-line with market costs to ensure fairness.
For example: If you raise ₦200,000, a fee of ₦10,000 is deducted to support the operations that make the Crowdr service possible.

Crowdr doesn’t charge you anything to source volunteers!
Withdrawals
Here's a step-by-step guide on how to move campaign funds to your personal/NGO’s account.
Step 1
Add your bank account information to your profile using the Payments and Payouts section in the settings. If you don’t see your bank, please email us at support@oncrowdr.com.
Step 2
Upload your identification information, e.g. passport, bio data page, photo of yourself, etc. so we can verify your identity. You don’t have to wait till the point of withdrawal to do this! The sooner you upload your information, the less delays there are at the finish line.
Note: You won’t be able to withdraw until you receive a notification that these documents have been approved. If the documents are rejected, you will receive a notification with the justification. We care about your security!
Step 3
When you’re ready, head over to My Campaigns and click on the ‘withdraw donations’ button to send a withdrawal request.
Your withdrawal request will be approved within 24 hours and the funds will be automatically transferred to your verified account.
A few things to note:
- Before we approve withdrawals, we re-verify the withdrawal account.
- You cannot change anything about your campaign, profile or account while we're processing your funds withdrawal request.
FAQ on recurring withdrawals
Q: Can I withdraw funds while my campaign is still ongoing?
A: Yes. You can withdraw the amount raised so far at any point during your campaign—while your fundraiser counter continues to track and display the total amount raised overall.

How to add a bank account
Click on the menu button to find the settings, then click on “Payment and Payouts.” You'll find a prompt to add a bank account, click on that and do the following:
- Add your account number
- Select bank name
- Select an account type (naira)
- Add account name
Click on save changes and viola, you've added a withdrawal account!

Changing your bank account
You can change your bank account information at any time during your campaign. However, you cannot change your account information after initiating a withdrawal process.
Account verification process
To verify a naira account, you'll need to provide
- A clear picture of your driver's license, international passport, voter's card or NIN card.
- A close up photograph of your face.

A few tips for taking a perfect verification selfie
- Good lighting; no glare or shadows
- No watermark
- No blurs
- Out-of-frame photos are not accepted
